The supplement everyone is taking (should you?)

What it actually does:

  • Helps you build/keep lean muscle when combined with strength training
  • May slightly boost strength and workout performance
  • May slightly speed up muscle recovery

Why is this helpful to you?

  • Muscle naturally declines with age and lower estrogen levels, which slows metabolism. Maintaining lean muscle helps keep your metabolism higher and your body composition healthier — even if the scale doesn’t change.

What it doesn’t do that influencers like to say it does:

  • It won’t clear brain fog overnight (you’ll get more mental clarity from sleep, hydration, and balanced meals).
  • It doesn’t boost fat loss or metabolism directly. Any change comes from maintaining more muscle.
  • It won’t fix low energy or burnout on its own.

How do I take it?

  • Mix it with water or your favorite smoothie — super easy.
  • Timing is not super important. Before or after a workout, with or without a meal. What matters more is taking it consistently — daily (even on rest days).
  • Make sure you’re doing 2-3 days of strength or resistance training each week.

Which ones are best?

  • Always choose supplements from reputable brands who do 3rd party testing.

So it is not going to magically make you lose a bunch of weight or get super strong, but it is a simple way to help support your muscle mass which IS very important. You can think of it as a little boost to maximize the work you’re putting in at the gym.
