I don’t say this lightly… but this changed my daily life

Hi Reader,

I saw you clicked on my robot vacuum/mop in Monday's newsletter… and I feel like I need to fully explain myself. 😅

I don’t throw around the phrase “life-changing” lightly. But this has genuinely been one of those things for me.

Not in a dramatic way—just in a very real, everyday way where something that used to sit in the background of my brain…is just handled.

My floors are clean when I wake up.

I’m not constantly noticing crumbs or dirt.

And I don’t have that mental note of “ugh I need to vacuum.”

It just… happens.

Let me tell you a little bit more if you're considering a purchase.

Why I love it so much

  • It vacuums every day automatically (per my preferences)
  • It mops 3x per week (you can customize this)
  • It gets under furniture and into spots I would normally skip
  • It handles real-life mess (kids, snacks, shoes, all of it 😅)

It’s one of those things that quietly makes your home feel better all the time.

A few questions I get a lot

How often do you refill it?
About 2x per week for the water, with daily vacuuming + mopping multiple times a week.

How often do you empty it?
It empties itself into a base station (!!), and I manually empty that every 2 months.

Does it work on rugs?
Yes—it moves seamlessly between flooring types, and it’s smart enough to know when it’s on a rug, so your rugs don’t get wet when it mops.

What about rugs with tassels?
I have one like this, and it did get caught at first. I just set that area as a no-go zone in the app, and now it skips it completely. It even recommends no-go zones if it routinely gets stuck in a certain area.

Does it run into everything?
It’s surprisingly smart. It can gently move small things (like shoes left out), and it cleans really well around and under objects.

Can you control where it goes?
Yes—and this is one of my favorite features.

It maps your space, and you can fully customize:

  • where it cleans
  • when it runs
  • areas to skip

I even made a program called “after meals”—and when I tap it, it just vacuums specific parts of the kitchen I selected. It makes quick cleanups so much easier.

Can I use it on multiple levels?
Yes, you can! You don't have to move the base station between floors. You can just move the vacuum between each level, and have each level mapped out.

A couple things to know before you buy

  • The mopping solution is sold separately, but I use it and like it.
  • I also bought a replacement kit (extra mop pads, dust bags, etc.) so I don’t have to think about it later.
  • If you’re choosing a color: I recommend black—the white shows dust more easily.

Real-life expectations

I do still use another vacuum sometimes—mostly for:

  • stairs
  • big messes (like if someone dumps flour everywhere 🙃)

But for everyday cleaning? That's no longer something on my to-do list.

Let’s talk about the price

Right now it’s $499, which is the lowest I’ve ever seen it.

I know that’s still an investment.

But for something I use every single day—and that removes a constant task from my plate—it’s been very worth it.

My honest take

This isn’t just a gadget that sits in a closet.

It’s something that quietly makes your home feel cleaner, lighter, and easier to manage… without you having to think about it.

And in this season of life, that kind of support goes a long way.

Let me know if you decide to join the robot vacuum and mop club!

Fudgy Brownie Bites

Hi Reader, You know what I’ve missed while my kids have been in school all year? I’ve missed walking around the house picking pillows up off the floor all day. I’ve missed the steady hum of my kids arguing with each other that I can hear from any part of the house. I’ve missed making food and cleaning up the kitchen around the clock. I’ve missed being asked, “can we go somewhere fun now” at 7:30 in the morning. Lucky me, I’m about to have ALL of that, and more! Okay you know I love my kids a...

A week of packed lunch ideas

Hi Reader, One thing that kills me about a lot of kids’ vitamin marketing right now is how it convinces parents that normal kid struggles mean they’re missing something important. Your child is emotional? It’s nutrient deficiencies. Picky eater? Hidden hunger. Big feelings? Trouble focusing? This gummy will change everything. And while nutrient deficiencies absolutely can matter in some situations, a lot of these ads jump from reality: “a multivitamin may help fill some nutrition gaps” to...
