She one-upped me! 😧

Hi Reader,

I expected writing a book to be challenging—finding the right words, fighting off self-doubt, resisting the urge to delete EVERYTHING and just give up.

What I wasn’t prepared for? Being immediately upstaged by my 7-year-old.

Yesterday after school, I sat Emilia down, excited to share my big news.

"Emilia, guess what? I'm writing a book!" I told her, bracing for excitement.

She barely looked up. "Mm. I’m writing a book too."

She immediately launched into a detailed explanation of her book—about a giant cherry mistaken for an apple—without so much as a “cool” or “what’s yours about, Mom?”

But honestly, I love that she was so sure I’d be interested in her idea (and I am!) that she couldn’t wait to tell me all about it.

So yes, I am writing a book (more on that soon!). But be ready for the giant cherry mystery to hit shelves soon, too. 😉

What I’m Loving This Week

DON’T SLEEP ON THESE CRAZY GOOD (& AFFORDABLE) PEEL PADS!

I’ve been using them for 2 months, and my skin has been so smooth, clear, and glowy, and I owe it totally to these (and my dermatologist Dr. Austin who recommended them)!!

Best part? They are like ¼ of the price I was previously paying for a similar product!

I use them at least once a day, usually after washing my face at night, before I do my serum and moisturizer!

Hi Reader, I recently stumbled upon some information that left me absolutely floored, and I had to share it with you. You know those big food companies that fill grocery shelves with ultra-processed foods that are extra tasty but very low on nutrition? Well, it turns out some of them have also owned major weight loss programs… So, the same companies encouraging us to indulge are also profiting from our desire to lose weight. It’s a cycle that keeps people bouncing between overindulgence and...
