So there’s two parts to it…

In part one, I show you exactly what gear to buy to have your own mealtime toolkit to get them more interested in new foods.

And in part two, you’ll see my top favorite picky-eater-friendly healthier food swaps and recipes!

I hope you find the toolkit helpful and encouraging – because every small win counts!

Kid-Friendly No-Bake Oatmeal Balls

These no-bake oatmeal balls are such an easy way to prepare a big batch of a nutrient-dense, healthy snack that the whole family will love. I love that they’re sweet, but not too sweet, they come together in under 5 minutes, and I feel great about my kids grabbing these when they’re hungry! You know I’m all about healthy snacking.

What I’m Loving This Week

More often than not, I add a scoop of collagen to my morning coffee - to be completely honest I have no clue if it affects my skin, hair, or nails, but I DO know that it keeps me more satisfied when I have that protein boost to start the day!

I just find that my energy stays a lot more stable when I have more protein at breakfast, but I don’t always want to EAT more protein at breakfast, ya know?

I’ve used Vital Proteins for awhile, but this one from Primal Kitchen is cheaper so I decided to switch!

It’s flavorless, and I also use it in baking, too – like in my favorite chocolate chip breakfast cookies!

Pouches get unnecessary hate – they are an amazingly convenient way to get in good nutrition. Here are some of my favorites that you can grab at Target!

Cheering you and your family on always,

Banana Blueberry Muffins

Hi Reader, I recently stumbled upon some information that left me absolutely floored, and I had to share it with you. You know those big food companies that fill grocery shelves with ultra-processed foods that are extra tasty but very low on nutrition? Well, it turns out some of them have also owned major weight loss programs… So, the same companies encouraging us to indulge are also profiting from our desire to lose weight. It’s a cycle that keeps people bouncing between overindulgence and...

Toddler Boy Eating Yogurt With a Spoon

Hi Reader, I expected writing a book to be challenging—finding the right words, fighting off self-doubt, resisting the urge to delete EVERYTHING and just give up. What I wasn’t prepared for? Being immediately upstaged by my 7-year-old. Yesterday after school, I sat Emilia down, excited to share my big news. "Emilia, guess what? I'm writing a book!" I told her, bracing for excitement. She barely looked up. "Mm. I’m writing a book too." She immediately launched into a detailed explanation of...
